The New Mexico racetrack of Sunray Park first hosted racing in 1984 when it was known as San Juan Downs and situated at Farmington. Initially the track, which was on the states Fairground, flourished, but crowd sizes diminished and it finally closed in 1993. |

| In 1999 the site once again saw racing when renamed Sunray Park. It not only offers live racing, but also has over 500 slot machines to satisfy the thirst of local punters. | ||
